A new work of God in San Diego's East Village

Our church has decided to step up to provide extra beds for folks on the street when inclement weather hits San Diego this rainy season (November-March). We will have 28 beds available when the City of San Diego activates the inclement weather system.

Activation Criteria (City of San Diego makes the final call):
Temp is below 50 degrees and there is 40% chance of rain
or
The temperature downtown is below 45 degrees (regardless of chance of rain)
or
There are exceptional weather conditions

If you need shelter, line up along the ramp ahead of our opening at 8pm. Doors close for good when lights go out at 10pm (even if we haven’t filled up by then). We are located at the corner of 16th St. and Market St. (1550 Market St, San Diego, CA 92101).

We will serve a light dinner and breakfast, and we hope to provide a warm, dry, safe place to sleep for the night. We’ll plan to have everyone out by 6:30am.

Ways to help:
We need blankets! Please bring clean blankets for donations between 11am-1pm on weekdays, or at another time when church activities are happening.

We need volunteers from 7-9pm to help set up and 5am-7am to clean up on days that we open (weather-dependent). If you want to volunteer, email Pastor Chris at chris@livingwaternazarene.com.

If you want to bring food, let us know, and we will try to arrange that with you.
